Wishing for my Peace Corps Invitation

This is my current situation. If you have looked at my Peace Corps timeline it seems as if I am so close to leaving for some exotic country to start my service and in theory I am. However, there are still months between me and that magical departure day. 

My application is being reviewed by the placement office so that they can match me up perfectly where my skills are needed. I think of it as America's most efficient dating service. This may seem like a fairly swift process but I was told that my invitation could arrive as late as four months before my departure day, which is March according to my nomination.

So while I wait and stalk different Facebook groups and Peace Corps blogs I can only sing "Someday my invitation will come"
