HBCUs Abroad

HBCU Abroad is a new project in support of Generation Study Abroad. This innovative project was developed to build global awareness among the HBCU community. The initiative promotes Historically Black Colleges and Universities and those students that decide to internationalize their degree by going abroad. 

Objectives of HBCU Abroad:

  • Promote HBCU students or alumni who have studied abroad

  • Develop the network of global citizens within the HBCU community

  • Motivate students to seek out opportunities for international experience.

Globalization is a movement changing the way the world works, and employers are increasingly looking for workers who have international skills and experience. The reality is, we are missing out on these opportunities. However, we need to start somewhere, why not start will a movement of our own?
