Internship Abroad in Costa Rica: Part 2

Dia Dos de mi Pasantía/Day 2 of My Internship

Today I got lost in the downtown of Costa Rica looking for a store to take my passport pictures. After spending most of the day in the city, I returned to the Assembly and took the pictures to Human Resources. I then met with Ricardo Castro and spent the day with him. Spending time with him took me to a press conference with President Granados, a press conference with Congresswoman Xina and the first secretary of the Congress.

Between all the meetings, Don Ricardo talked to us interns about politics and how it is a war of political parties to advance their ideas and transparency is a problem.

I watched a General Assembly meeting from the press room and took a picture with the President of the Congress.
